HOT GINGER TEA

Ingredients
3 teaspoons black tea leaves
1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
4 cups (1 L) boiling water
Lemon juice (optional)
Honey (optional)
Instructions
Iced tea in summer, hot ginger tea in winter. It is a particularly comforting drink for a cold.
1. Place tea and ginger in a warmed teapot. Pour over boiling water, stir and allow to steep for 5 minutes. Stir again and strain before pouring.
2. Flavour tea with lemon juice and honey if desired.
